Unter den vielen Weing\u00fctern, die seit den 1980er Jahren weit \u00fcber die Rioja hinaus bekannt geworden sind, nehmen die Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Artadi eine Sonderstellung ein. Artadi geh\u00f6rt zur Gebietsspitze, und das mit Weinen, die seit den 1980er Jahren aus rein biologisch, mittlerweile auch biodynamisch bewirtschafteten Weinbergen stammen. Im Jahr 1985 schlossen sich einige Familien zu einer Kooperative zusammen, die sich aber nicht verstand, weshalb zwei der Familien, Lacalle und Laorden, das Weingut \u00fcbernahmen. Die Neugr\u00fcndung 1992 war der Startschuss f\u00fcr den konsequenten Aufstieg von Artadi. Zu dieser Konsequenz geh\u00f6rte auch das Verlassen des Verbandes der Rioja-Winzer, weshalb man den Begriff Rioja auf den Weinetiketten nicht mehr findet. Artadi geh\u00f6rt zu den besten Weing\u00fctern der Region, die einen eher modernen Stil pflegen. Das liegt auch daran, dass man mit Weing\u00e4rten wie El Pis\u00f3n und anderen einige der besten Lagen der Rioja besitzt. <\/p>\n

Informationen zum Wein<\/h5>\n

Das Weingut Artadi ist einer der wichtigsten Wegbereiter und Protagonisten des Wandels in Spanien von kellergepr\u00e4gten zu terroirgepr\u00e4gten Weinen. Der reinsortige Tempranillo \u201eVi\u00f1as de Gain\u201c ist dabei ein Querschnitt durch die Terroirs der baskischen Rioja. Die Trauben stammen aus verschiedenen Weinbergen in den Gemeinden Laguardia und Elvillar. Einige Lagen liegen im w\u00e4rmeren Ebrotal auf einer H\u00f6he von 450 Metern, andere auf bis zu 700 Metern im k\u00fchleren Klima der Sierra Cantabria. Die B\u00f6den sind teils kalkhaltig, teils lehmig, teils steinig. Aus dieser Vielfalt an Terroirs entsteht ein komplexer und vielschichtiger Wein, der exemplarisch f\u00fcr die Alavesa steht. Der Wein ist au\u00dferdem biozertifiziert und reifte 12 Monate in Eichenf\u00e4ssern. <\/p>\n

Die Nase ist gepr\u00e4gt von einer geh\u00f6rigen Portion Mineralit\u00e4t und atlantischer Frische. Obwohl sie zun\u00e4chst etwas karg wirkt, ist sie \u00e4u\u00dferst attraktiv, animierend und von gro\u00dfer Intensit\u00e4t. Mit zunehmendem Luftkontakt entfalten sich dunkle und rote Fr\u00fcchte. Es empfiehlt sich, diesen Wein in seinem jetzigen jungen Stadium zu karaffieren. <\/p>\n

Gaumen<\/h5>\n

Der Vi\u00f1as de Gain 2021 ist druckvoll und griffig am Gaumen. Es ist ein konzentrierter und dicht strukturierter Rotwein, der zugleich aber auch elegant, saftig und keineswegs \u00fcppig ist. Die Aromatik zeigt mehr dunkle als rote Fr\u00fcchte, was typisch f\u00fcr die h\u00f6heren Lagen der Rioja Alavesa ist. Das kreidige Tannin pr\u00e4gt den langen, attraktiven Abgang. Dazu kommen eine pointierte S\u00e4ure, ein mittler K\u00f6rper und eine erdige Mineralit\u00e4t, die f\u00fcr Tiefgang sorgt. L\u00e4nge, Tiefe, Spannung und Gripp \u2014 es ist also alles da, was ein Topwein braucht. Das Preis-Genuss-Verh\u00e4ltnis ist bei diesem Gew\u00e4chs einfach fabelhaft.<\/p>\n
