Unter den vielen Weing\u00fctern, die seit den 1980er Jahren weit \u00fcber die Rioja hinaus bekannt geworden sind, nehmen die Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Artadi eine Sonderstellung ein. Artadi geh\u00f6rt zur Gebietsspitze, und das mit Weinen, die seit den 1980er Jahren aus rein biologisch, mittlerweile auch biodynamisch bewirtschafteten Weinbergen stammen. Im Jahr 1985 schlossen sich einige Familien zu einer Kooperative zusammen, die sich aber nicht verstand, weshalb zwei der Familien, Lacalle und Laorden, das Weingut \u00fcbernahmen. Die Neugr\u00fcndung 1992 war der Startschuss f\u00fcr den konsequenten Aufstieg von Artadi. Zu dieser Konsequenz geh\u00f6rte auch das Verlassen des Verbandes der Rioja-Winzer, weshalb man den Begriff Rioja auf den Weinetiketten nicht mehr findet. Artadi geh\u00f6rt zu den besten Weing\u00fctern der Region, die einen eher modernen Stil pflegen. Das liegt auch daran, dass man mit Weing\u00e4rten wie El Pis\u00f3n und anderen einige der besten Lagen der Rioja besitzt. <\/p>\n

Die Flasche des 2022er Vi\u00f1a El Pis\u00f3n, die ich verkostete, bietet sogar noch mehr als die unverpackte Probe, die ich letztes Jahr probierte. Sie ist elegant, parf\u00fcmiert und blumig, wie eine kr\u00e4ftigere Version von San L\u00e1zaro. Am Gaumen ist sie mittel- bis vollmundig mit sehr feinen, kalkigen Tanninen, der Eleganz von Laguardia und der Finesse dieser besonderen Lage. 2022 war das erste Jahr mit Ertragssteigerung, und der Wein ist sehr ausdrucksstark, offen und ausgewogen. Er hat 14,64 % Alkohol, einen pH-Wert von 3,62 und einen S\u00e4uregehalt von 4,78 g. Es gibt 6.000 Flaschen davon. Die Abf\u00fcllung erfolgte im Juni 2024.
