Die Weing\u00e4rten geh\u00f6ren zur Finca La S\u00ednia, der Mischsatz Pla de Manlleu liegt unterhalb des Castello de Selma. Der Ancestral besteht aus Chenin Blanc und Marsanne, die Reben wachsen auf rund 750 Metern auf Ton- und Kalksteinb\u00f6den. Die Trauben werden angequetscht und mit Schalen und Stielen f\u00fcr einen Tag auf der Maische belassen, bevor abgepresst wird und der Wein schlie\u00dflich zu g\u00e4ren beginnt, bis er g\u00e4rend auf die Flaschen gef\u00fcllt wird. <\/p>\n<h5>Farbe<\/h5>\n<p> Sattes Gelb mit seidenmattem Schimmer und verhaltener Perlage. <\/p>\n<h5>Nase<\/h5>\n<p> In der Nase geriert sich der 2020 Selma Ancestral wie eine Diva: Mit einer feinen Reduktion zeigen sich unter Z\u00fcndpl\u00e4ttchen und Streichh\u00f6lzern mit etwas Luft Noten von Erbsgr\u00fcn, gr\u00fcnen Bohnen und Zucchinibl\u00fcten, bevor gestovter Apfel und kleine Mostbirnen auftreten. Ein Ancestral, der gro\u00dfe Gl\u00e4ser und\/oder ausreichende Bel\u00fcftung, z.B. in der Karaffe, nicht scheut. Ein zun\u00e4chst etwas sperriger Kollege, bei dem etwas Zeit, Wohlwollen und Besch\u00e4ftigung mit seinem Naturell extrem bereichernd sein k\u00f6nnen. Fordernd, doch enorm belohnend. <\/p>\n<h5>Mund<\/h5>\n<p> Im Antrunk zeigt sich das Mousseux sehr zur\u00fcckgenommen und agiert eher als Trinkbeschleuniger denn als Hauptdarsteller. Der 2020er Jahrgang wirkt etwas f\u00fclliger als gew\u00f6hnlich, dazu kommt seine cremige Textur und ein wenig Rests\u00fc\u00dfe, die das warme Jahr musterg\u00fcltig widerspiegeln. Unter der Reduktion schlummern gesottene m\u00fcrbe \u00c4pfel, etwas Zitrone, Fenchel und zart hefige Noten, die an warmes Brioche erinnern.
