Informationen zum Wein<\/h5>\n

V\u00e8rtebra ist der Ortswein im Portfolio von Terroir Sense Fronteres. Winzer Dominik Huber und Winzerin Tatjana Peceric keltern ihn aus 100% Garnacha Tinta. Die Trauben lesen sie aus verschiedenen Weinbergen in der Ortschaft La Figuera im Anbaugebiet Montsant. Diese liegt quasi direkt an der Grenze zum Priorat. Die B\u00f6den in La Figuera sind \u00fcberwiegend ton- und gipshaltig, die biodynamisch bewirtschafteten Reben sind im Schnitt 60 Jahre alt, und die Weinberge befinden sich auf einer f\u00fcr Montsant beachtlichen H\u00f6he von rund 700 Metern. Entsprechend ist die Frische ein Markenzeichen dieses Rotweins, den die beiden Winzer ausschlie\u00dflich in Betontanks ausbauen. <\/p>\n

Der Jahrgang 2021 hat ein expressives und aromatisches Bukett aus frischen roten und blauen Fr\u00fcchten, unterlegt von dezent reduktiven und erdig-mineralischen Noten. Typisch f\u00fcr die Weine von Terroir Sense Fronteres ist die Nase anregend und sinnlich; sie hat gar nichts Schweres und Dunkles an sich, sondern ist hell, pr\u00e4zise und frisch. Man k\u00f6nnte ewig daran riechen. <\/p>\n

Gaumen<\/h5>\n

Der V\u00e8rtebra verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen schlanken K\u00f6rper und feink\u00f6rnige Tannine. Im Mund f\u00fchlt er sich elegant und leicht an, ist zugleich aber auch druckvoll und von aromatischer Intensit\u00e4t. Der Wein entwickelt viel Grip am Gaumen, hat einen geradlinigen Zug und zeigt die f\u00fcr Garnacha typische W\u00fcrze im langen Abgang. Im Gesamtbild vereint dieser Rotwein auf beeindruckende Weise die erfrischende und sonnige Seite des Mittelmeers: Mit nur 12,5 Prozent Alkoholgehalt ist er einerseits leicht, andererseits aber auch strukturiert und konzentriert. Eigentlich ist die Garnacha-Traube daf\u00fcr bekannt, viel Zucker aufzubauen, weshalb einige spanische Winzer sagen, man k\u00f6nne aus Garnacha keine phenolisch reifen und ausdrucksstarken Rotweine mit weniger als 14 Volumenprozent keltern. Der V\u00e8rtebra 2021 beweist allerdings genau das Gegenteil.<\/p>\n

Der Rotwein V\u00e8rtebra de la Figuera 2021 aus dem Dorf hat, wie ich finde, den typischen Stil des Hauses: hell und mit einer gewissen Leichtigkeit, moderatem Alkoholgehalt (12 %) und Reifegrad sowie einem mittelkr\u00e4ftigen Gaumen, der in diesem Fall das saftige Gef\u00fchl der Kalkb\u00f6den vermittelt, kalkhaltig, sehr schmackhaft, fast salzig. 6.000 Flaschen produziert. Alle Weine wurden etwa sechs Monate nach der Ernte abgef\u00fcllt.
