Kraft meets Finesse oder auch Bruce Lee statt Schwarzenegger. Die extraktreiche Frucht baut am Gaumen immensen Druck auf und schwebt wie auf einem fliegenden Teppich aus kraftvollen und engmaschig gewobenen Gerbstoffen, beschleunigt vom vibrierenden S\u00e4urenerv. Fleischig und fest ist er unterf\u00fcttert von der strahlend klaren Frucht und k\u00fchler Mineralik, die ihm Vibration und Spannung verleiht. Offenherzig und freudvoll mit rasantem Trinkfluss und fruchtig-\u00e4therischem Finish. <\/p>\n

Christoph Raffelt\u00a0vom 14.02.2023 Der Nebbiolo stammt aus der Lage Basarin in Neive. Die drei Hektar des Weinbergs hat Sottimano erst 2014 erworben. Die Reben in der Parzelle sind rund 50 Jahre alt. Der durchschnittliche Ertrag liegt bei 40 hl\/ha. Die Lage wurde von Sottimano direkt auf biologischen bzw. biodynamischen Anbau umgestellt. Die Frucht wurde entrappt und bis zu 60 Tagen vergoren bzw. auf der Maische belassen, wobei der Tresterhut w\u00e4hrend der G\u00e4rung in offenen Edelstahlg\u00e4rst\u00e4ndern regelm\u00e4\u00dfig untergesto\u00dfen wurde. Ausgebaut wird der Wein seit 2020 in gro\u00dfen, leicht konisch zulaufenden Botti. Die Reifezeit im Fass betrug rund 24 Monate. <\/p>\n

Nase<\/h5>\n

Sauerkirsche, Cassis, Holunderbeere und Himbeere pr\u00e4gen ihn anf\u00e4nglich. Es ist aber auch von Anfang an klar, dass die Frucht nur ein Vehikel ist. Seine tiefgr\u00fcndige W\u00fcrze, seine erdige Art, die Herkunft zeigt und seine subtile Komplexit\u00e4t sind die wahren Faktoren. Wacholder, schwarzer Pfeffer, Piment und Kubeben-Pfeffer sind dabei pr\u00e4gend. Hagebutten-Tee sowie Cranberry und ged\u00f6rrte Feige verleihen ihm viel Tiefe. Feine R\u00f6staromen, kalter Rauch und Waldboden sorgen f\u00fcr Akzente. Getrocknete Kr\u00e4uter aus dem Gew\u00fcrzschrank wie Majoran, Estragon und Bohnenkraut wollen hier auch noch mitspielen. <\/p>\n

Gaumen<\/h5>\n

Basarin ist f\u00fcr mich immer der subtilste der Weine von Andrea Sottimano. Nicht sticht laut hervor, nichts dr\u00e4nt sich auf. Seien gro\u00dfe Balance ist seine St\u00e4rke. Das Gef\u00fcge aus Tannin, Frucht, S\u00e4ure, Bitterstoffen und Mineralit\u00e4t scheint perfekt. Die feien Fruchtaromatik agiert herrlich mit den Bittestoffen. Sein Tannin bietet ihm Stabilit\u00e4t und r\u00fcstet ihn f\u00fcr die Zukunft. Er wirkt saftig und enorm animierend. Die markante und doch perfekt integrierte S\u00e4ure f\u00f6rdert den Trinkfluss und regt den Speichelfluss an. Gro\u00dfe Eleganz umgibt ihn und diese Vielfalt an Eindr\u00fccken m\u00fcndet in einem seidigen Mundgef\u00fchl. Wacholder, Piment sowie die getrockneten Kr\u00e4uter dominieren den Nachhall sp\u00fcrbar.<\/p>\n
