Information zum Wein<\/h5>\n

Der wahrscheinlich beste Climat in Saint-Romain mit 13,56 Hektar in s\u00fcdwestlicher Ausrichtung und mit kreidig wei\u00dfen B\u00f6den. Nach der selektiven Lese erfolgte die langsame Pressung der Ganztrauben, danach die Verg\u00e4rung mit weinbergseigenen Hefen in Holz-Cuves und der Ausbau \u00fcber ein Jahr in Pi\u00e8ces und Tonneaux mit einem maximalen Neuholzanteil von 15 %. Der Wein wurde ungesch\u00f6nt, ungefiltert und mit minimalem Schwefel gef\u00fcllt. <\/p>\n

Nase<\/h5>\n

Der Chardonnay aus der Lage Combe Bazin wirkt fein und elegant. Er duftet nach Limetten, Zitronen und Kalamansi mit etwas Abrieb und Kernen. Dazu kommen Aromen von knackigen wei\u00dfen Pfirsichen und gelben \u00c4pfeln. Noten von Gestein fehlen hier ebenso wenig wie die von Haseln\u00fcssen und von ein klein wenig Holz. Es ist kein expressiver Duft, sondern ein finessenreicher. <\/p>\n

Gaumen<\/h5>\n

Am Gaumen wirkt der Saint-Romain reif und seidig, doch die S\u00e4ure ist dabei gut sp\u00fcrbar und angenehm lebendig. Auch hier findet man die gr\u00fcnen und gelben zitrischen Noten, dazu etwas Ananas, Kr\u00e4uter und Gestein. Zum Finale hin wird es immer pikanter und salziger, der Trinkfluss immer h\u00f6her, und die Seidigkeit und zitrische Frische verbinden sich zu einem gelungenen Gesamtwerk.<\/p>\n
