Die Grand-Cru-Lage \u00bbLes Bressandes\u00ab liegt genau auf der Mitte des Corton-H\u00fcgels unterhalb des Clos du Roi und Les Renardes. Die 1,12 Hektar sind in vier Parzellen aufteilt, und der Boden ist gepr\u00e4gt von Bajocium- und Oxford-Kalk mit Kieseln, Ton und einem hohen Eisenanteil. <\/p>\n

Die Grand-Cru-Lage \u00bbLes Bressandes\u00ab liegt genau auf der Mitte des Corton-H\u00fcgels unterhalb des Clos du Roi und Les Renardes. Die 1,12 Hektar sind in vier Parzellen aufteilt, und der Boden ist gepr\u00e4gt von Bajocium- und Oxford-Kalk mit Kieseln, Ton und einem hohen Eisenanteil. Im Jahr 2014 hatte Fran\u00e7ois de Nicolay es nach dem verheerenden 2013er Hagel wieder mit Hagel zu tun, allerdings mit deutlich weniger. Daf\u00fcr kam, \u00e4hnlich wie in deutschen Weinbergen, die Kirschessigfliege und sorgte f\u00fcr Ernteausf\u00e4lle. Doch trotz der Widrigkeiten ist der 2014er ein bildsch\u00f6ner, fruchtbetonter Jahrgang geworden. Der Corton-Bressandes stammt von durchschnittlich 35 Jahre alten Reben, wurde zwischen dem 18. und 26. September gepfl\u00fcckt und penibel aussortiert. Der Wein wurde mit einem Anteil von 40 bis 50 % ganzer Trauben vergoren. <\/p>\n

Nase<\/h5>\n

Zun\u00e4chst ist die Nase des Corton-Bressandes stark von Reduktion gepr\u00e4gt. Obwohl man Pinot eigentlich nicht karaffiert, sollte man es im aktuell noch \u00e4u\u00dferst jugendlichen Stadium dieses Weines doch in Erw\u00e4gung ziehen. Dann \u00f6ffnet sich ein weites Feld von intensiver Frucht schwarzer Johannisbeeren und Kirschen, Holunder und Kastanien, Orangenschalen, Wacholder und Unterholz. In der Ferne meint man \u2013 Einbildung oder nicht \u2013 Noten von Eisen wahrzunehmen. <\/p>\n

Mund<\/h5>\n

Am Gaumen spielt der Corton schon die ganze Macht dieser einzigartigen Grand-Cru-Lage aus. In der Textur seidig und fein, in der S\u00e4ure klar und brillant, zeigt sich die dunkle, von Waldboden- und Unterholznoten durchsetzte Frucht pr\u00e4sent und voller Kraft. Der Corton-Bressandes ist durchdrungen von einer nervigen, agilen Frische und Mineralit\u00e4t, die einen gro\u00dfen Spielraum auf der fest gewirkten Struktur dieses Weines hat. Wer Corton in der Rubrik \u00bbstreng und maskulin\u00ab einordnet, wird hier eines Besseren belehrt. Der Wein zeigt auch die sanftere Seite, die Corton haben kann. Bei aller Jugendlichkeit die der Pinot aktuell noch besitzt, sp\u00fcrt man ohne Zweifel schon jetzt eine beeindruckende Gr\u00f6\u00dfe. Der Wein ben\u00f6tigt aktuell mindestens einen Tag Luft. <\/p>\n

Der Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru 2014 besticht durch ein detailreiches, pr\u00e4zises und mineralisches Bouquet, das sich im Glas wunderbar entfaltet. Am Gaumen pr\u00e4sentiert er sich ausgeglichen, geradlinig und straff, mit s\u00e4uerlichen Noten von roten Kirschen, gemischt mit Erdbeeren und einem Hauch von Austernschalen im Abgang. Sehr fein, auch wenn der Corton Mar\u00e9chaudes mit zunehmender Flaschenreife die Nase vorn haben k\u00f6nnte. Wir werden sehen!

Ein sch\u00f6ner, voller Rotwein. Scharfe, moschusartige Noten von Pfeffer, Gew\u00fcrzen und Sandelholz, die sich durch die ganze Traube ziehen, akzentuieren Himbeeren, Rauch und Unterholz; die Noten von Weintrauben dominieren im Fr\u00fchstadium, aber auf eine sehr attraktive Art und Weise. Geschmeidige Aromen von roten Beeren, ger\u00e4uchertem Fleisch und Unterholz zeigen eine sch\u00f6ne Definition und eine verf\u00fchrerische S\u00fc\u00dfe, ganz zu schweigen von der sehr guten Tiefe. Er ist deutlich weicher als letztes Jahr, als ich ihn kurz nach der Abf\u00fcllung verkostete. Im Abgang mit kr\u00e4ftigen, staubigen Tanninen und bemerkenswerter L\u00e4nge. \u2013 Stephen Tanzer
