Beschreibung
Michael Andres works with the champagne house Andres & Mugler. He founded his own winery in 1993. The basis of the business were the vineyards of his parents’ cooperative, which were gradually planted with Burgundy varieties in addition to the existing Riesling. Not everything goes into sparkling wine production! In addition to sparkling wine, Michael Andres produces excellent wines that reflect the special terroir of the Mittelhaardt. He cultivates parcels in top vineyards such as the Reiterpfad, Herrgottsacker or the Mäushöhle. In this location, he owns one of the few remaining terraced vineyards in the Palatinate. High above Deidesheim, directly on the edge of the Haard with a fantastic view of the Rhine plain. One of the most exciting sites in the Mittelhaardt.
